Terminal Details

To access the terminal details, you can click on any terminal listed in the Terminal Overview. This feature provides a detailed view of individual terminals, including identification details, location, and operational status.

At the top, a quick summary is available, followed by categorised sections such as Device Information, Location, or Activity, making it easy to navigate and understand the specifics of each terminal. From this page, you can also perform key actions, such as showing related transactions or unbinding the terminal for reassignment.

Terminal actions

Available actions depend on the terminal status.

From the terminal details page, you can:

View transactions processed by the terminal
Edit the device name
Add or manage tags
Unbind the terminal

Edit device name

You can assign a name to help identify the terminal.

To edit the device name:

In the Device information section, click Edit name
Enter a name
Click Save

The name can have up to 50 characters.

Terminal Sections

The terminal details are organised into separate sections, each grouping related information for clarity and efficiency. Depending on the terminal type and configuration, some sections may not be available (for example, software or firmware details for certain legacy devices).

The full list of possible sections include:

Section	Description
Main Header	Provides a quick overview of the terminal and available actions (e.g., Show Transactions, Unbind).
Device Information	Displays the most important fields used to identify a terminal, such as Device Name, Brand, Model, Serial Number, and Status.
Location	Shows where the terminal is located within your organisation, including Country, Unit Name, and Unit ID.
Activity	Provides insights into the terminal’s recent usage and connectivity, such as the most recent transaction and the last TMS sync.
Operating System	Displays technical details about the terminal’s environment, including Software Version and Firmware Version.
Metadata	Includes additional miscellaneous details about the terminal that do not fall under the other categories.
Linked transactions	Shows transactions processed by this terminal. You can open each transaction or view all.
